Standard One Content Pedagogy:
The teacher understands the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structures of the discipline he or she teaches and can create learning experiences that make these aspects of subject matter meaningful for students.

This link is a lesson plan regarding the Civil Rights movement. The reason why I included this lesson plan is to show that I know and understand the information of this crucial time period in American history and to also demonstrate different teaching methods I would use.
This next link is a paper that I wrote for one of my history classes I took at SUNY OSWEGO. The paper is about the age of big business in the United States and how Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, Jay Gould and J.P. Morgan invented the American supereconomy. The book I read and reviewed was written by Charles R. Morris.
