Standard Nine Reflective Practice Professional Growth:
The teacher is a reflective practitioner who continually evaluates the effects of his or her choices and actions on others (students, parents, and other professionals in the learning community) and who actively seeks out opportunities to grow professionally.
This link explains my personal rationale towards standard nine.
The following link is a certificate stating that I passed and completed the course: Safe Schools and Healthy Students. I felt this was important because it shows my commitment and dedication to continue learning and to learn things will benefit my students. In addition, there is a copy of a congratulation’s letter mailed to me by Dr. Joyce M. Smith. She is the coordinator of graduate studies for SUNY Oswego’s education department. This letter also shows my commitment and dedication to learning and to becoming an effective educator.
